[Doggiebox] Relevance of time signature?

I guess I'm kind of here, too.  I'm not very good at counting rhythms
from time signature, but I have a working understanding of what they
mean and they are a useful reference -- and pretty widespread!  Best to
leave them in.  I mean, I've never found the idea of time signature
getting in the way!
