[Doggiebox] Tested Amplitube- not sure I like it- Ludwig Kit used

I tried my first recording using David H's Ludwig II kit. I really like it. His description of the Bonham-ish sound really rings true on the crashes. I don't know what it is. A compressed sound, maybe? Listen to the ride passage and the fill at around 1:00 into the song below. Pretty cool, if I do say so myself! I also used 1K's Amplitube for the guitar work. It belongs to a friend. I think I'll pass on the purchase. It's pretty cool, but it's a fairly big hassle to post-process the raw sounds as opposed to just micing my Studio 15.
