I think that the ability to export individual drum sounds as separate files has been discussed on the list. It may be on the development wish list, too. What I've done to achieve exactly what you're after is this (it's a little bit of work): Create the entire song Do a "save as" naming the file something like "dbsong_kick" Delete all but the kick sounds and save. This file is now ready for import into your DAW app. Do another "save as" from your original song. Name it something like "dbsong_everythingelse" This time delete ONLY the kick. Import this to another track on your DAW app. Now you can apply effects separately to these two tracks. Taken to the extreme, you could do this for every instrument in your song. As to the velocity thing... Try to download either the Ludwig Kit from David Holloway, or the nskit. These both have multiply velocity values for many instruments. Doggiebox List,
Is there a way to view the entire list, to see if my question has already been discussed?
I assume there is no way to export separate drums as audio (e.g. only the kick which I normally do not reverb), so I am planning to use MIDI export which will give me more flexibility in Pro Tools. I would have expected an audio file that is exported to line-up in Pro Tools with a MIDI file that is exported, but this is not the case. Anyone know why?
Is there a way to change the velocity of a single drum hit in a pattern?
Thanks, Doggiebox is just what I was looking for. -Paul
