Corey, Funny you should mention this... that has been part of the plan for quite awhile, but never yet implemented. (You'll note it is possible to assign such keys in the drum kit editor, but they've never been used.) However, it happens to be my next order of business for the next build. Ben, have you ever considered using keyboard shortcuts to select instruments? For instance, in Adobe products, you can press the letter V to select the Move tool, or M to select Marquee, etc. In Doggiebox, I could see this being very useful for quickly switching between commonly used instruments. B for bass drum, S for snare, H for high hat and so on... perhaps also using a modifier key (IE, shift + hotkey) to cycle through different versions of the same instrument. This might cut down on moving the mouse back and forth to the instrument drawer and the sequencing area to choose different sounds. Has this been suggested before? What are your thoughts?
