Excellent news! I'm more than happy to pay for this major upgrade, considering all the years of functionality Doggiebox has given me -- and doubtless will continue to give me. I mess around with loops and GB's software drums when sketching ideas, but DB remains my go-to solution for making "the proper" percussion tracks! :) Admittedly, I won't turn away the coupon! :) And on that, one question: where does it appear? Only in the "check for upgrades" window before checking the upgrade. I went ahead and clicked to upgrade, and have downloaded the upgrade so that it's asking me to re-register, but I am not sure where any upgrade coupon might be found .... After close to two years of development, Doggiebox 2.0 is almost ready to meet the world at large, and you can get your hands on it first. Doggiebox 2.0 will cost $39, both for new users and as an upgrade (except for those who purchased Doggiebox this year or last). This will be the first paid upgrade since Doggiebox first debuted in 2002. If you're running an earlier 2.0 beta build, you can run a "check for updates" to download the final release. As an expression of thanks for being a tester, you'll find a link and coupon code for a 25% discount. An overview of everything that's changed and improved since 1.4.3 is here: <http://www.doggiebox.com/documentation/current/history.html> Should you find any problems with the upgrade process or bugs in the new build, please let me know. An official announcement and public release will follow, along with an updated web site, in the coming days.
