Hey all, New 1E4 build today at <http://www.doggiebox.com/distribution/Doggiebox- 1E4.tbz> which replaces Monday's build. Most notably, a bug is fixed which caused a lockup or crash upon starting playback (thanks Dan Costello). For obscure reasons this never manifested during the course of normal debugging. Secondly, on track with creating finer control for editing operations, cursor-key navigation is now possible on a beat-by-beat basis within patterns. Keyboard combinations in the pattern editor have changed slightly but should be immediately intuitive: - left, right arrows will navigate on a visible beat subdivision basis. - option-left, option-right will navigate bar by bar (as did left/right in previous versions). - command-left, command-right will jump to start and end of line respectively. - up, down arrows will walk line by line. - option-up, option-down will walk a screenful at a time. - command-up, command-down will jump to start and end of song respectively (as did up/down in previous versions). It is not yet possible to place the cursor inside a bar using the mouse, nor is it possible to select individual beats yet, but that's coming next. And finally, you may have noticed Safari (or your downloader of choice) spewing a bunch of garbage text when you tried to download the last build... I have fixed that on the web server so the file should download normally now.
