Well, most of the time I've copied the meat of what's in them to this list in my build announcements anyway so you haven't really been missing much.
You might want to type up a canned response to this issue, then save it as a draft. Paste it into all appropriate email responses to the issue, thus at least saving yourself some typing!
Probably a better idea. I'm surprised, though, how many people suddenly start having this problem. I don't know how long 8.0.1 has been out (which apparently fixes that bug), but I'm a bit surprised that people seem still to be going from 7.x (or whatever worked before) to 8.0 (which is broken) instead of 8.0.1.
