Hi Jimmy I think its just that your settings are set to allow sounds to completely decay at the end of a section. This is good to have on if you end on a big cymbal crash, but for your purposes you need to switch it of. Go to Doggiebox preferences and look for the 'allow sounds to completely decay option.
