I looked at iDrum some while back -- to be honest it doesn't seem bad, really, but (at the time I checked it out, at least) it would only program in 4/4! I'm just a simple rock'n'roller, but I would start to find that a bit limiting. Sure, there are features that could be added to DB that would help bring it up-to-date -- it's been a while since a refresh! -- but considering how long it's been without much change, DB is still pretty practical!
