[Doggiebox] Default kit for new dbsong?

Hey Ben (et al): Is there any way to change the default kit (or simply NOT HAVE a default kit defined) for a new dbsong? I find nowhere in the preferences to adjust this. My idea for this is sort of like a web browser-- you can either have a new window open up with a default home page, or as a user-defined home page, or as a prompt asking what location (or in this case, what kit) you want to start with.
