In the layout section, would it be possible to specify a repeat for a section? Say I had a short 2 bar loop I wanted to use 10 times (for 20 bars total). With the current layout, you would need to select the loop section 10 times. It would be a nice touch to be able to say "Use loop section X 10." I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but some way to easily select different version (velocities) of a given drum would be great. If I had a snare with 3 different levels, it would be nice to be able to say "use this drum, at this level" and be able to go back and easily change the level. Just a few more thoughts. Thanks for the great work. -Andrew On Feb 2, 2004, at 1:26 PM, Ben Kennedy wrote:

Started fooling around with the new Beta. Nice changes. Can't seem select drums, though. I can command-click and get the default drum, but can't seem to click in the editor to add a different drum. Am I missing something?
Nope it's a bug, will be fixed shortly :)

I'm a bit lost I must say - I got a few sections but when I press all in the Layout- they weren't in order???
Hmm... did this happen even after you saved/reopened the file? Can you give me some steps to reproduce this? It seems to work properly for me, but there could well be a bug.
Also using apple i to get a new bar needs the section listed to be hi-lighted?? Confusing
Well, the pattern editor needs to have input focus (meaning you have to first either click in or tab to it after creating the new section). I agree that is a bit lame, I'll try to fix that.
I also noticed that the section doesn't show the Bar #'s it uses
What are you referring to -- can you be more specific?
Thanks for your feedback so far, both of you!
