Pat, I had the exact same experience. I got the pops and clicks and would edit them out with the pencil tool in Peak. After insisting that the level control had no effect, I was proven wrong after checking it one final time. I now export everything at around 75 percent instead of the default 80. This is not to say that there isn't something else at work; it's just that it sounds remarkably familiar. Try the export one more time with reduced volume, this time save just prior to exporting (just in case saving has an impact on exported files). On Monday, October 27, 2003, at 07:04 PM, Pat wrote:
Hi,
I had just purchased DoggieBox recently when I upgraded to Panther. So I don't know if this is a general problem or something caused by the upgrade. But after creating a pattern using the "Ben's Premiere" drum kit and exporing it I always get clicks and pops... Mostly they are associated with the highest level points but some seem to be random, such as at the beginning.
I don't hear the clicks when playing in DoggieBox, only when exporting. Also I have tried turning down the master output level, but it seems to have no effect on the exported result...
Can anyone tell me what's up?
I can post the pattern and sample result if that will help.
