Michael, I have tried it too and it behaves as you described i.e. un-useable. I also looked in the log file and saw several memory leak exceptions listed. I share your disappointment. I really love Doggie Box's user interface and had hoped, like others on this list, that additional functionality and universal binaries would be added over time. I guess the revenue flow has decreased to where Doug isn't interested anymore. Doggie Box was written as a Carbon application (judging from the log file output). So to progress forward, it would need to be made Cocoa based as a minimum. Don't know if Doug has any plans for that. However, if Doug truly views this as dead, would he consider releasing the code as open source? Doug? thanks dave
1. Doggiebox with Leopard? (Michael McFarland Watson)
Hey all,
Has anyone tried Doggiebox under the new version of Mac OS? One of my friends just installed Leopard and Doggiebox has massive audio latency issues (aka the sound skips horribly) and even when not in use it was taking up 50% of his Macbook Pro's CPU.
I use doggiebox all the time, and it would be unfortunate to lose that ability upon upgrading.
