Build 1G06 (14 Aug 2009): This build features a significant re-working of some internals, including audio loading and mixing routines (among other things). Most notably, sample rate conversion is now handled automatically for all sounds, opening up flexibility. Here is what's visibly new: - The 44.1 kHz stereo limitation has been removed from the drum kit editor; now any sound files may be assigned to drums, regardless of sample rate. - An arbitrary sample rate may now be chosen when exporting audio files (and the file size estimate is once again provided). - Changing drum kits in a song now works properly, and in addition, can now be undone without weird side effects. - Fixed a long-standing bug in the pattern editor that could sometimes allow multiple variants of the same instrument (e.g. open and closed hi- hat) to be inserted concurrently. Please report any problems that manifest when saving and loading drum kits or using them with songs. -b -- Ben Kennedy (chief magician) zygoat creative technical services http://www.zygoat.ca
