Sounds like a reasonable idea to me. Now implemented for the next build! Incidentally, I've also implemented drum-kit-change notification, as discussed on the list earlier. When a drum kit currently in use by an open song is modified (and saved to disk), the affected song(s) will immediately post an alert sheet that provides an option to re-load the kit for any changes. Also, I want to thank everyone for the feedback so far on the issues of time signatures and beat-level editing. I haven't yet had time to respond to much of the discussion, but it is very informative and I am glad to hear your viewpoints.
