Though not significantly different from a V-Amp, if I remember the price of those roughly aright. Meanwhile, I'm interested in seeing if I can fiddle GB into being a brainless way make quick'n'easy accompaniment parts with instruments I don't own/play (which I might be able to do with MIDI and/or sequencers if I a) had the software and b) was clever enough to figure out how it worked :) But I suppose in theory once I work out my percussion in Doggiebox, I could make a track of the same length/tempo in GB, slap in some instrumentation where I wanted it, and then record the drum and GB accompaniment tracks off to my VS-1680 and nudge them into alignment ....
