[Doggiebox] (no subject)

Hey, a bit off the subject but still related... anyone have any info on very basic (beginner) percussion chart reading and writing? i am so sucky at this... as a long time bass player i know what i want to hear and have been driving myself crazy sitting at the comp. trying to program stuff in doggiebox. any links, books, videos would be appreciated.
