In the layout section, would it be possible to specify a repeat for a section? Say I had a short 2 bar loop I wanted to use 10 times (for 20 bars total). With the current layout, you would need to select the loop section 10 times. It would be a nice touch to be able to say "Use loop section X 10."
Okay, you've got it; now implemented for the next build. :)
I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but some way to easily select different version (velocities) of a given drum would be great. If I had a snare with 3 different levels, it would be nice to be able to say "use this drum, at this level" and be able to go back and easily change the level.
Yeah. Coming eventually. Still need to figure out the most elegant way to do this; there are two different approaches that I see: 1. create separate sub-variants for such drums, consisting of different samples. This would provide the most realistic effect. Can be currently achieved to some extent by creating new variants for drums, as people have done with ns_kit. 2. simply be able to change the volume with a slider on any given drum hit. This would be fairly easy to implement, and I still probably will if people would find it worthwhile, although the results would not be as realistic as having distinct samples for different velocities. 3. a combination of the above, with a slider type thingy, which would do the former if samples were available or the latter if not, depending on how the particular drum is configured in the kit. -ben -- Ben Kennedy, chief magician zygoat creative technical services 613-228-3392 | 1-866-466-4628 http://www.zygoat.ca
