Thanks for that - The ns-kit is something I've been meaning to investigate And also the Ringo kit is cool - i'm looking forward to using it.
Love the Pinetop song - you get a great sound. Have just down loaded Chaing - that sounds good too. I'm having a few weeks holiday soon so I can investigate more soon
Thanks again for the kits

Just going through some old postings to the group and found this request from Carl - been meaning to look into soundfonts for a while and now I'm pleased to say that I've been able to sample the woodblock soundfont and copy it into the excellent doggiebox version of the ns-kit. Thanks for your kind words Charlie - the NS kit is really good for getting a realistic sound. Ringo's kit is fun too. I've got a few kits kind of half done using samples from records and filled out with existing samples form other kits. I'll probably have them posted up by the time you get back from your holiday. Cheers Sion

You can download this from my site: http://www.cinnamondesign.co.uk/music/music.html was able to do this using Midikeys, Simplesynth and Audio Hijack. Don't know if you've got round this yourself Carl, but if not, enjoy.
Cool. I did actually extract the samples eventually, though yours may well have come out better! I'll check 'em out :)
I gotta get that djembe kit, too. That's way cool.
Cheers, Carl
Glad you did get the samples Carl. Mine are set up in the ns kit with appropriate graphics etc so that might be easier. I think I've about 8 levels of velocity - you can fine tune it yourself too anyway,as you know. Cheers Sion
