Hey folks,
For the moment, this is a quick note to acknowledge my continued existence and shed some insight on what's been going on with me and Doggiebox lately.
About a year ago I made a decision to move from Ottawa ON to Vancouver BC to take a year of film school. This was motivated by various personal and career-related things, which I might try to muse more upon later. While I expected my involvement with Doggiebox to take a dip over this time, I didn't foresee it being so severe.
I have been keeping a partial eye on the mailing list, and handling sales-support related requests, but as it turns out I've been able to do little more than the basics over this period. Suffice it to say that the past several months have kept me extremely busy.
It has never been my deliberate intent to abandon Doggiebox, nor to let it languish without development (or at least contact on this mailing list) for so long as it has.
I would like to express my gratitude to all of you who have nurtured and maintained this Doggiebox community in the mean time. And rest assured I do take your enthusiasm as encouragement for future development; indeed, there is much more that I've wanted to do with Doggiebox for quite awhile, and I'm optimistic that the time is nearing where I will be able to sink my teeth in again.
Regarding Leopard compatibility: I apologize for not having been able to mitigate the breakage ahead of time, and I certainly intend to remedy this as a top priority.
More from me soon.
(happy halloween!)

This is good news. Thanks for the note Ben.
Best of luck to you in film school. Vancouver is a great city.
Toronto's a great city, too. I had dinner up the CN Tower last week. How is their film school? My youngest daughter is destined for an art school of some kind.

Ben- so glad you're still out there! I'm the middle school music teacher in Braintree Ma. that's been using your doggiebox with my 7th graders to create percussion compositions for over 5 years. They love it - you should hear the things they come up with! They play their compositions for their parents at conference day and the parents are always impressed.
Hope you can continue to develop the program! best, charlotte

Well, that news the best Halloween present I can think of :)
