Re: SV: Re: [Doggiebox] Re: new build problems?

Ok, bizarre. I downloaded the archive onto my ibook and tried unzipping by double-clicking, and I am getting the same "file exists" message. I'm at a loss as to what that means. However, if I open up a terminal window, cd to ~/Desktop and then do a "unzip Doggiebox-1C9.zip", it seems to unzip without incident. I've just tried re-zipping and the file ends up the same. I have also done a dump of the zipfile contents and compared with those of the 1C7 archive (which seems to unzip properly), and aside from the obvious differences in date/time and a couple modified files, there is nothing odd apparent. Very strange. StuffitExpander 8.0.2 appears to unzip the file properly, though. A couple people had reported problems with doggiebox not properly launching (after unzipping). If this still persists, can you please a) check your console.log while trying to launch doggiebox, and b) let me know? thanks, -ben On 19 8 2004 at 2:36 pm -0400, Tor Lillegraven wrote:

Anyone else have trouble un-ZIP-ing the 1c9 build? I got an error 17, "file exists," when I tried to unzip it. Downloaded fine, 1.2 MB in size, I double-click it, and it starts looking like it's gonna open the
archive... and then boink, error 17 message. Any ideas?
Weird. To where are you unzipping it, and how are you doing so?
I've only tested on 10.3.5 so far (and I zipped it using the Finder context menu option)...

I didn't have any trouble unzipping, but it does fail to launch (leaving no trace in the console.log). I shouldn't have blown away my previous build! ;) Cheers, Carl -- Carl Edlund Anderson http://www.carlaz.com/
