I use an M-Audio Firewire 410, BIAS Deck, and an Oktava MK-319. The Oktava is a great mic dirt cheap from Guitar Center, and Deck LE is under $100. I strongly urge you to go firewire over USB- In my experience, USB just can't handle the bandwidth of doing realtime audio.
