As a very inexperienced user all of this makes little difference to me. Any major changes to the UI would be a bit of a curve ball but since I know very little to begin with I'd have very little to re-learn. The only significant change that would help newbies would be the tap feature as far as I'm concerned. Hope I'm not sounding like a broken record.
