2 suggested enhancements:
1) When I play a song, it always starts at the very beginning. When I am working along a song, I would like to play at a specific point in the song.
2) Doggiebox has the ability to copy bars. How about also the ability to copy individual tempo within the bar and paste to another part of the same bar? It is difficult enough to four or five different drums from one tempo and recreate to another tempo.

At present, you can get this kind of behaviour by selecting some bars, then option-clicking the Play button (or hit option-space). But I do see your point, and I was thinking earlier it might be useful to have "tape deck" style cue/play controls in addition to just the one play/stop button. Good idea.

How do you mean, exactly? Are you talking about copying individual events from within a bar? Insofar as tempo control, it is of course fairly trivial to change the bpm on any given bar.
