this is what would work wonders for me: * putting in an additonal option in the "export sections..." menu option that would allow you to select ANY, SOME or ALL of the 5 (count them, five) individual kit-pieces for export. Hmmmm... did that make sense? Ok - here is an example: lets say I have made 5 bars of music -- the chorus of a song. It would be great to be able to go into "export sections...", and select, lets say, TWO of the kit-pieces (hihat and snare, or bassdrum and cymbals, or any other combination) and export only 5 bars of those two pieces. Similarily, you could have a complete song over 90 bars, and export ONLY the complete snare track from that song. The logical layout of Doggiebox is such that this could be as easy as just selecting one or several of the five "lines" of kit-pieces for export. For example -- you could just choose to export the "top line" (usually the cymbals), or the "bottom line", (usually the bass drum.) Doing it this way would provide a simple means of organizing your export. Another option would obviously be to just have the option of exporting "all the snare rimshots in this song".type of deal, but I think that be a bit more cumbersome. What if I have a song where every other snare hit is a rimshot? Tor P.S: Here is a track I have made recently using Doggiebox: http://www.mementor.net/lyd/eye_to_eye.mp3 The next step for me would separating each of the kit-pieces, giving the Bassdrum a little extra wooompf, the snare a little distortion, the hihat a little flanger, cymbals lots of reverb and so forth. For this I need the seperate export options.... otherwise its just too much of a hassle here is another one: http://www.mementor.net/lyd/lost_love.mp3 the drums are a little high on this one -- a common mistake amongst noob-drummers like myself, I think :-) ***************************************************************** Denne fotnoten bekrefter at denne e-postmeldingen ble skannet av MailSweeper og funnet fri for virus. ***************************************************************** This footnote confirms that this email message has been swept by MailSweeper for the presence of computer viruses. *****************************************************************
