Sounds good. Tom Petty / Allman-ish. IMHO, you've slammed it too hard with the compressor. (I'm assuming that's what _compressor.mp3 means) The parts individually feel a little dry in the mix although they really are performed well. Try to bring the vocals out more. They are buried in spots. Cool song. I like the breakdown in the middle. Best, Corey On Sep 15, 2004, at 6:23 AM, tk wrote:
Doggieboxed song: ***************** OK, so here it goes: http://www.tkummer.de/lousylovers/Time_dont_wait_compressor.mp3
It's a 3 minute song that I've recorded last week using - doggiebox (Hemberger Kit) exported to 2 tracks on a Boss BR-8 - guitars, bass, and vocals performed by me :-)
GarageBand Kits: *************** I was a little disappointed because I thought, the whole kits (incl. AIFF files) are included. I figured out that there's only a link to the files. I don't have Garageband, so it looks worthless for me ...
Did I find a bug? ************** I tried to modify the existing Hemberger kit (lower the volume of the HiHat). When I triy to save my changes it says: "Unable to save the document" (or something like that, I forgot, sorry). Do I miss something?
