True, if you want every single instrument on its own track. I guess I was thinking that you may also wish to configure subgroups, e.g. cymbals into a stereo pair, toms as another pair, then snare and kick. Is there a demand for this? If so, would it be sufficient to assign such groupings within the drum kit config?
