Is anyone else not able to get their AIFF/WAV exports to line up with a click track? I'm using a software bass guitar in Logic Express and it's always ahead of the drums almost immediately, thus making my pre-made midi tracks impossible to use. I'm running the latest beta version on 10.5.8.
Thanks, Aaron

Hey Aaron,
Have you verified that the master tempo slider is locked in at 100%? Perhaps it is slightly decreased. Double-click it to reset to 100%.
If that's not the problem, please send me (off-list) a Doggiebox song file that exhibits the issue so that I can try to reproduce and troubleshoot it.
thanks,
-ben

In Aaron's case, this did turn out to be the problem.
Question: does anybody use the master tempo slider at anything other than 100%?
I'm wondering if it is a vestigial feature that would be worth eliminating. At the very least, its current implementation needs to be improved.

Ben... Is there an iPad app in the works at all? Just wondering. They seem made for each other.

On the drawing board. :)

I've never used the tempo slider as I could just use the main bpm box to control the speed. I'd be interested to know in what circumstances the slider could be used though - it seems a good thing to have an extra controller which might be useful - but just can't see how it could do anything you can't do with the bpm box - plus when creating a track its mostly always so it can be imported into Garageband or the like - which needs a precise bpm to keep things in sync.

Yeah, I've always simply twiddled the tempo on a measure by measure basis, when it was necessary. Never used the master tempo slider!
Cheers, Carl

I have to confess that I'm in no great danger of wearing the thing out, but I do use it occasionally while I try to get the feel of song. A little bit faster… a little bit slower… that sort of thing.
FWIW, I would prefer that it stays for the odd occasions I use it
