Hey, I’m with you guys all the way. I’m using DB to create demos that sometimes sound better than the recorded final! The ability to export as discrete drum tracks was such a game changer I never considered using anything else after that. How many software programs have brought this much pleasure and productivity? I also owe a great debt of gratitude to Ben. Cheers, fellas. ~Bob Wire, Missoula, Montana

you Carl. I fucking love DB. it’s like Microsoft word for written drum music. I’ve built my own kits with real samples from everywhere and everything. I use DB over actually recording drums. I can write music at my desk and it’ll sound better than my mics. I can get it better than anything else I’ve tried. And $40? Damn Ben. We owe you so much. How the f was everybody not using this?

Hi, anyone who might still be out there--
I believe I
posed a similar question about a year ago, but is anyone in touch with Ben? I think some of us were already hitting the end of the road with Doggiebox (I still got it to work on High Sierra, though YMMV), but I vaguely recall that with Mojave if a certain "x" change wasn't done then various programs were going to fall by the wayside--Doggiebox among them.
We come not to mourn Doggiebox but
rather to praise it . . .
Well, unless something is in the
works, damn good run while it lasted and I hope that Ben is doing well, live long and prosper, etc. (Honestly, mostly at this point I'm just wondering if I should finally unsubscribe from this list . . .).
Cheers,
Carl (not that Carl but the other one ;-) )

Hi All -
Good to see that there are other Doggiebox fans out there, and still using it.
I use DB to back live performances in local bars - the combo of ease of use and control is exactly what I’ve needed for years (as a non-drummer myself).
I still use mostly one or two of the default kits - those snare samples really cut through even on a crap in-house sound system.
My battered but trusty 2010 MacBook Air 11 running MacOS 10.9.5 is perfect for DB 2.0.2 - so hold onto your old laptops, folks.
Keep on DB rocking …!
