tempo pulling...

Hi Ben, I just updated to Jaguar and decided to check out the dog's box.. Jaguar is fast... Anyways created a bar of 4/4 and just looped it and added some drums here and there. Then pulled the tempo to 150% and then tried to pull it back. The notch then jumped back to 150 not letting me back down in tempo. I don't remember this problem in OS X, but maybe I never tried it. I really like your program Ben, the interface is very friendly... I gotta get some sort of audio interface so that I can play along with the imac. Thanks, Gavin.

Hey all, Just a quick note to let yall know that a new build of Doggiebox is up. This time it's just simple bug fixes; due to other contracts, the last several weeks have been particularly busy for me. I look forward to getting onto new features by early December. However, a couple of the most annoying problems you've reported have been squashed in this build: - Fixed bug where a crash could occur if a bar were deleted when the insertion point was immediately after it. - Fixed bug where song would continue to play after closing the window. - Fixed bug where playback would skip over the last beat in the song (or selection) when looping. - Fixed bug where extra noise (typically an annoying buzz) would sound repeatedly after playing a song until you quit the program. Doggiebox gives me a persistent buzz.

Hello. All puns aside, I like this program a lot. Thanks for developing it. I'm new to the list so I apologize if any of these issues have already been raised/addressed. Here we go: 1. There is a buzz during the playback of certain drum sounds. This happened particularly badly when I made my own kit and previewed the sounds. I actually had to quit the program to get the buzz to stop. Related to this issue, are there guidelines to making drum sounds that I don't know about? 2. Will Doggiebox ever ship with default drum icons? I made a kit assuming they'd be in there. I was wrong and consequently couldn't see where I was putting my drums. 3. Will there ever be channel soloing and or muting? This isn't a big priority right now, I was just curious. I'm also using version 1A3. That's all for now. Thanks very much. There is a bug in 1A3 where the very last beat in the playback (if playing the whole song, or in the selection, if playing just the selection) does not get the proper duration -- it effectively trips over itself immediately when looping back to the beginning. This will be fixed in the next build. I'm assuming that's what you're hearing with the doubling-up at the end. Can you describe in more detail what you mean by it playing in 3/8? Insert more bars?

Hi Ben, I had a song that was 102 bars long (accidentally inserted several using the insert bars again command) it had 3 different time changes in it. I was frustrated with the fact that I did have 102 bars (too long) so I decided to select all and clear everything.... Now working in the same song, now empty, I try to Insert Bars (32 bars of 2/4 at 300bpm) and they don't show up in the display. I tried to recreate this (I wasn't taking notes): New song: Inserted 32 bars of 2/4 @320 bpm. Put a variety of drums in all over the place. Tried to section the piece into various sections: 1 to 32, 3 to 32 and 32 to 17. (I find this feature hard to use). I played the song a couple times through, pulled the master tempo to 136%, looped playback and then tried to insert more bars. 32 bars of 2/4 @300 bpm, got nothing. Tried the insert more bars again and got nothing. I then selected all the bars and cleared everything 'song is empty'. Again tried to insert more bars and got nothing. Hmm, I am using 10.1.5 (hoping that Jaguar is in my mailbox) with 1A3. Oh yeah with your voice drums. I have never really tested software before, so I hope this stands as an ok bug report..
