Nice song Mike.
I'd echo what Carl said - I think you can dispose of your vocalist -
your voice is in fact great! You remind me a bit of Michael Stipe. Its
particularly good when the harmonies come in. Seriously, you should be
singing as well as playing.
I banged this on my mp3 player this evening, set to 'repeat' and had it
on a loop for ages and can't really find any fault. Its the best
example yet of a believable 'real drummer' sound - that technique of
slight speedup works really well. I'll be looking again at the nskit -
it has a great 'clean studio sound. Any chance you could send the drum
db over for me to look at for tips?

Great new kit David
You're right - Its like an improved vi kit - which is good for me as
I've been veering back to that one lately. You've added loads of
imaginative additions which adds to the 'real drummer' result. I
think some of your ideas should be taken up by others who are
thinking of constructing a kit.
Thanks for taking the time to do this and for remembering about my
request for the tambourine L & R hits too - fits really well in the kit.
Like the Cutouts tracks especially the third. Actually this goes back
to something someone else said a few weeks ago on the list - that a
real live drummer plays like a (musical) instrument - responding to
the other musicians throuought the track.
Nice logo for the cutouts too!
A half-finished demo is on my site using viii (in conjunction with a
retro yamaha keyboard drum sound!)

Just ran across this randomly...
"Zygoat's Doggiebox is an awesome little app that satisfies your need
to create your own drum sequences. Matt Willmore takes an in-depth
look at what Doggiebox has to offer."

hi folks,
i have finally found some time to assemble the third in the
70sLudwigKit series. this definitely sucks less than the vII kit.
of course, no one drum sound fits all tastes so your mileage may vary.
the compressed zip file is ~20MB and the uncompressed kit is a
whopping 100+MB. there's 80 or so individual sounds. i made new
icons, with screwy combinations of iconography and color to make
things a bit more readable (at least to me).
the sad news is that this is the last in the line... i sold the kit.
enjoy! and let me know what you think. a test arrangement is
included. sort of a sped-up tweaked-out bo diddley kinda thing.
